Catching the Last Tsunami

A few weeks after the Hollywood movie “2012″ was played in Indonesian theaters, I heard some people wondering whether a great flood as in Noah’s time could ever happen in our time. Meanwhile, I have great confidence that it will not. The world as we know it may end one day but it will not be through a great flood.
Satanic churches and Luciferian sects in the world use the great flood in Noah’s time as proof that the God of the Bible was evil. Nimrod, the great grandson of Noah, was a rebel and the heart of his rebellion lies in his anger that God would have the heart to just kill everybody and everything on earth by drowning them all. He was the first to base his rebellion against God on the great flood. Therefore it is not a surprise if the world today, represented by Hollywood, believe that even if this “none sense talk about an apocalypse” is true, it may be through a great flood.
But this mindset is the mindset of rebels in bitterness. Has GOD not given a sign of His own promise in the sky to never ever repeat what He has done using the Great Flood in Noah’s time? In Gen 9:12-15 we read:
And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature with you, for everlasting generations: I set my rainbow in the cloud. And it shall be a token of a covenant between Me and the earth. And it shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud. And I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
There will be no more Great Flood as in the days of Noah. Even when the world is ending, there will not be the same great tidal wave that would drown the whole world as in the movie “2012″.
In the end of time, there will be only one last great tsunami that will hit the whole world. This great tidal wave will not come in a chemical formula as H2O (or water).
In Mat 24:4, Yahshua the Messiah gave us a clue of what an important sign is that the end is coming.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come.
Before the end of everything, a great tsunami will sweep the whole world. This tsunami will be the tsunami of great revival and awakening. A tsunami would not be called a “tsunami” if the wave that comes does not come in great power and size. It will come because of a great push from inside the earth so that the wave could reach far into the land, reaching many nations.
The tsunami of revival and awakening by the Holy Spirit will not be something that moves into the shore and tickles the sand only to retreat back into the ocean. We are talking about a great tsunami that is powerful enough to change the face of the nations that is hit by it. We are not talking about the spreading of the Gospel without any power or God-given authority accompanying the message. We are talking about a great revival that would transform the lifestyle of the people of the earth, change the face of the civilization and uproot all the pagan culture and beliefs of the nations.
A Tsunami without Water
The only tsunami that will cover the whole earth in the end of time will not come in a form of water, but An All-consuming Fire. The first wave of it started 2000 years ago which moved and spread, just like the tsunami in Aceh that moved and spread to the surrounding nations only within hours.
The first wave started in the attic of a house in Jerusalem, 2000 years ago when the Holy Spirit was poured out upon believers in a form of tongues of fire. These tongues of fire was on each person and was carried by them out of Jerusalem, where the Holy Spirit continues His work of revival in other cities and nations.
What happened on the day of the Pentecost 2000 years ago was only the beginning of the tsunami that spread into the western world. The tidal wave swept through the Continent of Europe from the Middle East, towards Greece and Rome. For almost 1700 years, the tsunami wave and the revival of the Holy Spirit transformed the western world so that it became the foundation of civilization in Europe as we know today. The wave succeeded to tear down the culture as they knew before until the root of civilization. It was only in the Dark Ages that civilization in Europe returned to the darkest pagan culture and mixed with the church.
Along with the revival and transformation, Europe was flooded with financial blessing that the tsunami brought upon it as well. When the revival was in Europe, God lifted up European towards an worldwide level of power, wealth, and influence. Science and technology at first rose from this continent. The lifestyle, the art and music also experienced transformation.
Europeans rose to power, influence and wealth so much that every they left legacy to this world that lasts for centuries. Does not the most long-lasting music come from Europe? All the classical praise and worship songs we know today are from hundreds of years ago from Europe. It all started when they caught the tsunami and allowed the Message of Jesus (Yahshua) to be absorbed into the roots of their life and culture.
Later on, Christian groups that worships God in different way as they have been led to do by the Holy Spirit. These were the puritans, the quakers, the mennonites, the hugenots and many many others. When they started worshiping God in a way that they believed the Holy Spirit led them to do, the European government and law suppressed the movement and persecution started on these groups.
Government bureaucracy and politics was what killed the revival and caused these groups to bring the wave of tsunami to the west of Europe – the Continent of America. By now the great tsunami has reached America which resulted in great spiritual movement which was started by Jonathan Edwards in the 1700′s, Charles Finney in the 1800′s, DL Mody in the 1800′s, Billy Graham in the 1900′s and eventually the latest great movement known as The Jesus Movement between 1969-1979.
